Villa Selection For your convenience, Discover Menorca has separated its holiday apartments and villas into four groups which are based on the type and size of the accommodation offered. Please follow the link to review the villas best suited to your needs. Rental Period An apartment or villa is available from any day in the week, to suit our customer's personal requirements, and are normally ready for occupation by 1400 hours on the day of arrival. In order to allow for maid service at the end of a rental period, visitors are requested to vacate their villa by 1000 hours on the day of their departure. Where your flight is a late departure from Menorca, our local representatives will do their best to provide facilities for you and your baggage prior to the departure of your flight, if this is needed. Villa Facilities Each villa is provided with a full range of equipment to meet the self-catering requirements of the number of persons identified. This includes all bed linen and towels, but does not include cot linen and cot blankets, which parents should either bring with them or alternatively hire from the Discover Menorca local representatives. Customers should also bring their own beach towels. Special Requirements Discover Menorca can provide cots for young babies on request , and will assist as much as possible for other visitors who may have special needs. Please make Discover Menorca aware of any requirements at the time of booking. Welcome Pack A welcome pack consisting of essential items to help you settle-in can be provided on request, at an additional cost. Health Requirements At the present time, there are no special health requirements for British citizens travelling to Menorca. Passports and Visas British citizens must have a valid 10-year passport, which is also valid for at least three months after the date of entry into Menorca. There is no visa requirement for British citizens. However, holders of non-EC passports should check with their relevant Consulate to establish the visa requirements for their entry. Electricity The electricity supply is 220 volts, 50 Hz, throughout Menorca. Should you wish to bring and use any UK appliances, Discover Menorca recommends that you purchase a Travel Plug Adaptor and bring it with you from the UK, as the electrical sockets on the island are not compatible with the plugs on UK appliances. Driving licences A United Kingdom driving licence is acceptable for hiring cars on the island, and there is no need to bring an International Driving Licence.
