Situation
An
attractive, renovated farmhouse that is located at the end of a private
lane though green fields, and which is just a 3-minute drive to the town
and harbour of Mahon. There are no near neighbours and the manor
house, which also occupies the same area of ground, will not be occupied
during the rental periods thus ensuring that the farmhouse will be very
private.
Exterior
The
garden is very pretty, sheltered and well-established with plenty of
trees. For outside dining there is a covered terrace that
overlooks the countryside and pool area, with stone benches, tables and
a barbeque next to the grassed garden. The pool is approximately 9
x 4 metres.
Interior
Originally
an annex to the main house, the cottage was recently renovated to a very
high standard, and is exquisitely decorated with antique furniture and
bright fabrics. There is a sitting-dining room with a television
and Hi-Fi, a well-equipped kitchen, an outside laundry room containing a
washing machine, and a further outside cloakroom. The master
bedroom has twin beds, an en-suite bathroom, and doors leading to the
terrace. There are two further twin-bedded rooms and another
bathroom. All the bedrooms have fitted wardrobes.
