Situation

A magnificent farmhouse situated on the Mahon to Fornells road, and set on a hill to give views over the open countryside and pine forests.  It is close to the beach of Arenal d'en Castell and the natural harbour of Addaya (5 kilometres), as well as being near the unspoilt beaches along the north of the island (Favaritx, Caballeria, Pregonda etc), as well as the port and city of Mahon and the village of Fornells (12 kilometres).

Exterior

The farmhouse was renovated to a very high standard in 2002 and, whilst the original characteristics were maintained, the house now includes the comforts necessary for modern day living.  There is a private swimming pool of approximately 9 x 4 metres with Roman steps, surrounded by a grassed area where children can play.  As there are no neighbouring properties, the setting is very private and tranquil.  Access to the house is via a country road of approximately 200 metres. 

Interior

The interior of the house is mainly on the ground floor level, although steps access some areas.  The main living room is 5 metres high internally, with stone walls and direct access to the outside.  A typical Menorquin kitchen includes a large kitchen table, and above the kitchen are accommodation areas where extra beds may be placed.  There is a master bedroom with an en-suite shower room, one twin bedroom with an en-suite shower room, two further twin bedrooms, and another complete bathroom.  The property is exquisitely decorated.

Kitchen

The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, toaster, electric kettle, liquidiser, pans of various sizes, and sufficient plates and glasses for the capacity of the property.
