Situation

This magnificent farmhouse is situated approximately one kilometre from the sea at Cala Coves, and within 300 yards of two bar/restaurants.  The village of Sant Climent is five minutes drive away, as is the beach resort of Calan Porter.

Exterior

The farmhouse is south-facing and completely private with gardens, outbuildings and fields surrounding the farmhouse, and a pine tree field in the front of the building.  There are good views over the countryside to the pre-historic Talayot at Toralba, and the farmhouse has its own Talayot (ancient monument peculiar to Menorca) in the garden.

To the right of the pine field is a walled swimming pool area with a pool (approx 9 x 4.5 m), limestone terraces, shady trees, grass and a typical Menorcan bread oven.  A driveway leads to the front of the farmhouse, and there is a car parking area at the back of the building.

Interior

The farmhouse has a large entrance hall off which is the master bedroom, with a dressing room and bathroom en-suite. The master bedroom has a private walled garden.  Also off the entrance hall is the large L-shaped sitting room with a satellite television and music centre, leading to another sitting room with built-in sofas that can be used as two extra beds if required.  In turn, this room leads into the spacious and attractive kitchen/dining room, which has a wood burner.  There is also an entrance to the kitchen through the back terrace and door at the side of the house.

Upstairs, there are two bathrooms, one with a shower plate and a washing machine.  Along the landing are a further two single beds (although no cupboard space), one large double bedroom, two smaller inter-connecting twin bedrooms, and a further, very large twin bedroom.  All the furnishings have been individually chosen and the decorations are simple and attractive, and suitable for a farmhouse of this character.
