Situation
This
property is a private farm located five minutes from the pretty town of
Alaior, where there are a variety of shops including craft shops and the
factory where the famous 'Mahon cheese' is manufactured. Mahon is
a ten minute drive away, as are the beaches on the north and south side
of the island.
Exterior
Although
the property dates from the 19th century, it was fully renovated in
2005, keeping the original architecture and typical Menorcan
appearance. There is a nice view to the prehistoric monument of
Torre d'en Gaumés, and the grounds contain a pool of approximately 11 x
5 metres which also has a separate children's section. In
addition, there is a children's swing and tobaggon.
Interior
On
the ground floor there is an entrance hall, living room, dining room,
kitchen, one double bedroom with an en-suite shower room, one twin
bedroom with an
en-suite shower room (with wheel-chair access), one double bedroom, one
twin bedroom and a full bathroom. On the first floor is a further
double bedroom, a twin bedroom, a shower room and a living room.
The furnishings are mostly antiques with bright, attractive fabrics that
are in keeping with the property.
